I'm Tarek Rached. I like to build things, and to use numbers to create pictures of the material world. My life's work is to help build a more sustainable planet through green energy, engineering for sustainability, and information visualization.
Currently, I'm an energy services analyst in the Monitoring-Based Commissioning group at EnerNOC. I help organizations save energy by analyzing the operational parameters of their building automation systems. I'm also working within my group to scale its operations to meet the growing demand for our services.
I grew up moving between Washington D.C., Lebanon, and France. My work is inspired by the possibilities of using technology as a tool to understand our world more completely.
